Welcome from the Chief Executive

I am delighted to welcome you to the website of Future Academies, a family of schools across London and Hertfordshire dedicated to improving the life chances and broadening the horizons of young people. 

Sponsored and guided by our founding charity, Future, our mission is simple: to realise our motto of libertas per cultum (freedom through education). We want our young people to lead lives full of choice and opportunity where, whatever path they take in life, it is a path they have chosen.  

Our first academy, Pimlico Academy, opened in 2008. We are now a family of ten schools working together towards this aim, supported by an Ofsted “Outstanding” SCITT which trains more than fifty teachers each year.

Over the past fifteen years, our work around curriculum, teacher training and enrichment has been sector-leading.  We are rightly proud of our record and equally keen to continue our improvement of our schools.

I am proud to lead Future Academies, a trust where I began my own career in education some fifteen years ago. Whether you are a student, a parent, a potential colleague, governor or a school looking to join our trust, I hope this website provides you with a flavour of our ambition and impact.
